Feed Them, Poor is a performance exploring feeding as an act charged with power, care, and contradictions. 


Recited in Arabic, the poem moves between the intimate and the structural. The project questions the assumptions embedded in giving, receiving, and sustaining — asking what remains when nourishment becomes a form of governance.

This performance took place at Museum Neues Weimar as part of the group performance series Staircase Play, premiered during Winterwerkschau 2026
